Flamingo 4th Birthday Party

Happy Friday!

Spring is party season in our house.  The girls birthdays are in March, April & May, and my parents birthday days are also in April and May, throw in St. Patty's day, Easter, Mother's day and our wedding anniversary and you've got yourself a 3-month long celebration!

It's exhausting.

But I LOVE it!

If you saw my Chanel party post you'll remember that I came up with that theme while brainstorming for Bella's 4th birthday.  I ended up deciding on a FLAMINGO theme for her party last year.  I really wanted to do something with these hot pink ostrich feathers I'd been given (they were actually used for Bella's baby shower!).  I thought a flamingo theme would be super cute and then it hit me-when a flamingo stands on one leg with the other bent up IT LOOKS LIKE A FOUR!!!  I may or may not have jumped up and down and clapped my hands at this realization. ;)

Here's the pics from Bella's 4th birthday.  Only over a year after the party (I seriously don't know why it has taken me this long to post them. Something is wrong with me).

I cut flamingos out of pink vinyl and put them on some of the chairs.  See, it's a four!

I made this bunting and stung it on a hot pink marabou boa

Another one of my moms amazing cakes

My mom made these cookies too!  She even had my dad helping.  Parties around here truly are a family affair!

Here's the feathers that started it all :)

The polka dot background is just wrapping paper from the dollar section at Target.

We even made our own rock candy

We had a DIY photo booth.  I had props and a camera set up so guests could snap some cute photos.  The kids loved it and I got some hilarious pics!

I made these marquee letters out of foam board, poster board, spray paint and some string lights.  SO easy!

The birthday girl....a year ago.  Thankfully she still has those round cheeks and sweet smile :)

So, what did you think??

A HUGE thanks to the super talented Heather Fitch of Heather Fitch Photography.  She took all the photos and really does an outstanding job!  Thanks again Heather!

I totally loved this party, but then again I love all parties!

Do you have an upcoming event and need some help?  I'm the girl for the job! Shoot me an email and let's chat about it.

I hope you have a great Easter weekend and get to spend it celebrating with the ones you love most!

Thanks for reading,

Jessica

  3. A Kid birthday party is something well worth planning, but what may look like a piece of cake, or an easy task to do, may turn out to be quite a hassle, and eventually not serve its purpose. hire baby shark
